This is an awesome vintage, 5 string banjo made in the late 50's / early 60's.
From my research B&S was a distribution company that distributed musical instruments in Canada. In fact the badge says "Toronto" on it . They were manufactured by many different company's and all sold under the B&S banner.
This one features a very nice maple neck with rosewood fretboard, maple resonator with 16 brackets, what seems to be the original skin and it features the original orbital tuners.
It plays good, stays in tune and sounds good!
