Recording King ROS 647 in Salt Spring Island, British Columbia for sale

These guitars are rare. The Recording KIng company discontinued production of the model several years ago, because the extensive time needed to build ROS 647s made the model unprofittable. The RK ROS 647 is reminescent in look and sound to Martins from the 1920s, and similar (even if more ornate) to contemporary Martin 000 auditorium sized guitars. Some of the many specifics about the guitar (and please ask for other details ) is that it has a V neck profile, a Solid Sitka Spruce top, solid Rosewood back and sides, 645mm scale, 47.5 nut width, bone nut and drop-in saddle and more. While the guitars are made in China, the model is very well made. As on-llne reviews note, the guitar plays easily with strong projection and a sweet tone. Excellent guitar for finger picking. The RK ROS 647 comes in a delux Guartian HSC, in brand new condition. The sole defect is a minor crack on the top back, that I had professionally repaired/stabilized by Salt Spring luthier Roch Schneider. It's stabalized and likely stronger than ever.
