It consists of a built in preamp, an internal microphone and an undersaddle transducer. It also has a great control block that mounts on the top/inside of the sound hole slightly out of sight. it has a master volume control and a blend control for the 2 pickups. It also has a tone control so you can suite it to the sound of your guitar. It's very light weight and unintrusive.
