The cards in are excellent condition whereas the box is not.
These flashcards by TJ Whitneys' Toys are a wonderful example of an educational activity that parent and child can play together. These cards combine vintage images from the 1940s as a visual reminder of each letter, with a complete sentence using the key word for that letter. The reverse side shows the bold capital letter on a neutral background. These cards can be used for more than regular flash card letter identification. Turn the cards over to the letter-only side to create words, or to put the alphabet in order. Or read the cards together, since the sentences are appropriate for early learners. The cards are made from recycled inner "grayboard" and new outer paper and come in a nicely decorated gift box. The cards are 6 3/4 x 5 1/4".
