Organic Queen Mattress and Frame in Salt Spring Island, British Columbia for sale

New condition queen bed purchased from Resthouse in Duncan (support local!).
The mattress is quite unique in that it is 4 pieces of organic Dunlop latex rubber, in an organic cotton & wool mattress cover with zipper, as pictured.
The mattress is the Savvy Rest Sanctuary 6" mattress, and is virtually unused, as it has always had a thick topper on it since it was purchased. The toppper was made in Washington state, with an organic cotton outer and filled with organic wool. The bed was in the guest bedroom, which we no longer need (it is being converted to an office).
The mattress is medium-firm, with excellent support, and designed to minimize disturbance to your sleeping partner. Currently, the top layer is 'medium' and the bottom layer 'firm'. Should your preference be for more softness, or a harder sleep surface, Resthouse in Duncan would be able to get you just two pieces of Dunlop latex rubber to completely change the sleep experience.
The bed frame is made from Western Maple, and built on the Island. The bed frame is high-quality craftmanship, with hidden joints and a lovely high-sheen finish over a natural non-toxic stain. It is custom built for the mattress to allow airflow, and features an extra centre support bar that locks in place. It is very sturdy.
