Over 100+ years old, but still has nice sound. It has a cast iron sounding board, which gives it a rich, resonant sound. There are no broken hammers or ivories. The only "broken" part is that it is missing a castor on the back right corner. My daughter used it for her piano lessons and achieved a grade 9 Conservatory proficiency. So....I'd love to pass it along to some other student who might be using a keyboard for their lessons or something.
